Here is a short list of items of goods and services that we need for upcoming projects on The Hogan Homestead! When we are able to, we prefer to buy used/consignment or barter for the things on our list. If you can help us with any item our list, please text Katie at 502-320-1562!

Fencing Supplies
We need fencing supplies, such as t-posts, wooden fence post, post insulators, and woven wire.
Lumber/Raw Materials
To help us with our barn upgrades
Stall mats and gravel
We have four 12x10ft stalls that need to have better drainage and have mats installed.
Livestock/horse trailer
Must be a bumper pull trailer and have working brakes and lights
Garden Implements
Shovels, pick axes, post hold diggers, etc.
Buckets and feeders
For horses and other livestock– we especially need mineral feeders
Animals
Goats
We are looking for does- kiko, boer, myotonic, or other breeding stock for our future meat goat operation. We also would like a registered myotonic buck- our price range is $300 or less for does, $400 or less for bucks.
Honey Bees and Supplies
We are hoping to start a few bee hives in 2022.
Feeder Pigs
We are planning on raising three feeder pigs in 2021; we are open to any production breed or cross, but are also open to slower growing lard breeds. We will eventually have a farrow to finish operation with a breeding trio.

We need help wiring electric to our barns and outbuildings

We need the old cisterns on our property evaluated and need to run water to our pastures and outbuildings.
General farm help
We need help doing smaller projects around the farm
Farm sitters
We need to have 2-3 different people trained to farm sit for us when we are out of town
